Heritage Ceremony Package
The Heritage Ceremony is designed for couples who dream of a garden wedding infused with natural charm and refined detail. The Heritage Ceremony offers a truly picturesque experience at the Parry Mansion.

In the days leading up to your wedding, our dedicated grounds team will lovingly refresh the property to perfection. This includes:
- Weeding, trimming, and pruning of all historic gardens, shrubs, and tree
- Refreshed and replanted flowering pots throughout the mansion grounds, tailored to complement your wedding color palette
- Photography Access:
- 45 minutes of pre-ceremony photography
- 45 minutes of post-ceremony photography

FAQs
Where on the property can the ceremony take place?
Ceremonies can take place in several beautiful locations throughout the Parry Mansion Museum grounds. The rear grounds on the Ferry Street side of the mansion are a popular choice and can accommodate approximately 100 guests. Couples may also choose to use the New Hope Historical Society’s event tent, which provides a great option in case of inclement weather.
Another popular setup has guests seated facing the mansion, with the couple and officiant on the covered porch. We encourage bridal parties to schedule a tour of the grounds and meet with our staff to discuss their ceremony plans, guest list, theme, and preferences. Together, we can help you determine the setting that best suits your wedding.
How long will we have access to the property?
Your wedding package includes 2.5 hours of access to the property for your ceremony and photos. If you’d like a little extra time to enjoy the grounds, take additional photos, or simply savor the moment, additional time can be arranged in advance for an incremental fee.
What is the rain plan?
A little rain doesn’t have to dampen your special day! As a rain plan, couples may arrange to use the New Hope Historical Society event tent, which may be available for an additional fee. At least 10 business days’ notice is required to allow time for permit processing and tent setup.
If you need to cancel your ceremony due to rain, at least 24 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations must be communicated by both email and telephone. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the preparation and care of the property grounds for your wedding ceremony.
Are tents and ceremony chairs included?
The New Hope Historical Society event tent is available as an option and may require an additional fee. At least 10 business days’ notice is required to allow time for permit processing and tent setup.
Ceremony chairs are not included with your wedding rental. However, we’re happy to provide a list of preferred rental vendors who are familiar with Parry Mansion Museum and can assist with chairs, tents, and other rental needs.
Can we hold a wedding rehearsal at the Mansion?
Yes! Wedding rehearsals may be held at the Mansion before your ceremony. Please discuss your rehearsal plans with the New Hope Historical Society staff at least two weeks before your wedding date so we can help coordinate the details. An additional fee may apply.
